my ride
so this morning i decided to ride my motorcycle to school (A: gas prices are too high; B: i finally picked it up from my parents' house; C: no chance of getting cold on the ride...man is it HOT!)...
i pulled out my car, pulled out the bike, put my car back under the carport, then proceeded to hop on the bike. i started it, then started it again, then tried to start it again. i did this a couple times before trying to use the choke. that seemed to work...then it didn't. the third time with the choke was a winner. the motorcycle wanted to "putt putt" a bit even after i had left the house.
but on to the real story...
driving down the road, about a mile from the intersection, the bike starting decelerating...rapidly. soon i was coasting down the road in neutral, attempting to start the motorcycle in motion. just as it was about to stop completely, i got it going again and made it to school (that was the scary part...that i would be late to school if i couldn't get it started). praise God from whom all blessings flow!
that was on the way to school...
on the way home...
it stopped again! it took me much longer to get it started this time. once i did, i prayed the whole way home, both thanking God and asking Him to get me all the way home, or at least to a point where George could easily help me get home.
we think there was dirt in the ____________ (i'm going to say either "intake" or "carburetor", but I really have no clue what i'm talking about) :)
